PREVEZA: A hidden gem

The diamond of western Greece

Preveza is one of western Greece’s little-known diamonds at the mouth of the Amvrakikos Gulf in the Ionian Riviera. This coastal town is both pleasant and peaceful with great history too.

Today Preveza is a commercial harbor and tourist hub, with a marina, cinemas, clubs, taverns, and cafes, benefiting from its proximity to the nearby Aktion National Airport, the nearby island of Lefkada and the seaside town of Parga.

All the food in the local taverns in the area is fresh and comes from our place.

Travel & Explore

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

Enjoy wandering along its cobblestone streets and its atmospheric old bazaar area with picturesque alleys and a number of fine buildings that have survived from the Ottoman period. Relax in a selection of traditional ouzeris (taverns) or sunbathe along the unspoiled beaches with crystal clear waters of the Ionian riviera.

The main attraction is Nikopolis (or ‘Victory City’, as the name translates) and is just 5km north. A historically impressive visit to the museum of Nicopolis as well as the ancient town is a must. Nicopolis was created under the order of Roman Emperor Octavian (later Emperor Augustus) to commemorate his win over Anthony and Cleopatra’s fleet at nearby Actium in 31BC.

Travel in comfort and safety to all the beaches of Ionian Sea.
